My name is Sonja Elen Kisa, and I’m a multilingual geek who lives in Toronto, Canada.
I first learned Esperanto as a young teenager to make fun of "that international language that nobody speaks." To my surprise, Esperanto quickly connected me to a network of millions of bright people around the world, and it has since become an important part of my culture.
Professionally, I’ve worked as an Esperanto-language conference interpreter during Council of Europe conferences in Strasbourg, France. I’m also the author of Sonja’s English-Esperanto dictionary.
